Mr Dua Adonteng, General Manager of the company described patronage of the quiz competition as low but underscored the positive effect the performance of the Stars had on the turnout.

He said the low patronage was due to the delay in the approval process from FIFA and printing, adding that the raffle should have been launched in February instead of May.

The General Manager said the company is not overly concerned about the low patronage because of the positive image the nation carved for herself on the international scene leading to a boost in what he described as sports tourism.

Mr Adonteng announced that part of the proceeds generated from the raffle will be channelled into the coffers of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

He praised the GFA and their partners, Whirlpool Ghana Limited, dealers in electronic products for supporting the competition. Ghana Post Company Limited prior to the World Cup launched commemorative stamps and a quiz competition for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
