GN Bank Awards is now People’s Celebrity Awards; slated for November 25
The maiden edition saw Bola Ray, Akumaa and others win their respective categories
In 2015, the maiden GN Bank Awards was tagged as the best event and awards scheme that happened in the year- arguably and thankfully, the scheme is back in the fray.
The awards, in its 2nd year will now be known as the People’s Celebrity Awards (PCA) and has been slated for November 25, 2017.
According to the organizers, the name change was necessitated due to the protracted court issue over the use of the name, ‘People Choice Awards’ – a case between Spyderlee Entertainment and Evolution Gh. which the former lost.
The maiden edition saw EIB Boss, Bola Ray, win the ultimate award for GN Bank Awards ‘Personality of the Year’. Shatta Wale won for ‘Male Musician’ and DK Poison got the Lifetime Achievement Award among many other wins.
The organizers will roll out the detailed itinerary for this year’s People’s Celebrity Awards very soon.
