Fuse ODG slams BET Awards organizers

To many people in the west, BET Awards is not prestigious but to us in Africa, it is the holy grail.

Fuse ODG was nominated as one of the Best International acts but he refused to attend the event because he feels the organizers of the awards disrespect African and non-American artistes who get nominated.

According to Fuse ODG, the fact that the awards are given backstage spells disrespect and the way he works hard doesn’t permit him to partake in the awards show.

He tweeted the following to voice out his opinion about the show. Just to let you know, this has been an on-going debate in Africa about why BET does that to international artistes.
