UK-based Ghanaian media personality and former Ghana's Most Beautiful runner-up, Adwoa Saah Boateng, has added her voice to the growing Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) trend, urging women to embrace their natural bodies and warned of the dangers associated with the procedure.

Sharing her thoughts about the BBL craze in Ghana and the diaspora in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, on March 19, 2026, Adwoa Saah stated, “I have never seen a Mercedes-Benz car with writings on it. The way the manufacturers made it is perfect for them. Same way, anything God does is perfect for me.”

She added, “The Bible said it: everything He has created is good. So if God has done it, why do I need to change it?"

Addressing the dangers associated with such procedures, Adwoa Saah noted that she has never seen practitioners of BBLs perform such procedures on themselves.

"I have never seen a BBL doctor who has done the procedure on herself. And until I see one, I will not do that to myself," she stated.

She added that she would not encourage her loved ones or friends to go down that route either.

"Most of the people in the UK who do the procedure end up dying because they can't do the surgery in the UK and they have to go to another country. The procedure usually goes wrong and they end up dead," she warned.

For those still tempted by the idea of enhanced curves, she suggested that they go for padded materials.

"I would rather people use foam to supplement their bodies than to go for such procedures," she said.

She also addressed the men who are driving demand for the trend, arguing that their interest in ladies with such enhancements is just curiosity and many are not interested in long-term relationships.

"Most men who go for ladies with BBLs are doing it for experiment or curiosity. They don't intend to go long-term with a woman with such enhancements. Because if complications come in the long run, they will not be able to afford any medical expenses," she said.
