Fetish Priest Predicts Doom

A POWERFUL 21-year-old fetish priest based at Juaben in the Ejisu-Juaben district of the Ashanti region has stated that today’s commemoration of the country’s 53rd independence anniversary will be marred by grief-stricken incidents. This, according to Nana Osorogya, was because the nation was scheduled to witness its worse disaster since President Mills assumed the reigns of government as the third president of the fourth republic a little over a year ago.

The final year General Arts student at Juaben Senior High School told DAILY GUIDE in an exclusive interview that today’s celebration will be characterized by fire outbreaks across the country.

Nana Osorogya predicted that one of the centers earmarked for the commemoration is expected to be gutted by a ferocious fire in the course of the celebration. He however failed to mention the center in question.

The sensational traditional worshipper, who is known in private circles as Awudu Wahab, disclosed that an incalculable tragedy was set to befall an important personality in the country who will play an active role in the celebration.

Though he would not mention the name of that important personality, Nana Osorogya noted that the tragedy will be so huge that the attention of the rest of the world will be focused on the country.

According to him, the nation will be in crisis after the tragedy had struck that important personality because everybody in the country will be thrown into a state of perplexity.

The 21-year-old influential traditional believer, who dreams of becoming a lawyer in future, pointed out that the Cocoa Processing Company in Accra will also have its share of the fire calamity.

Explaining why the nation was set to witness these strings of disasters, Nana Osorogya disclosed that the gods were extremely angry with certain unfolding events in the country.

He said the gods were particularly annoyed because some politicians who have been seeking their help to attain political powers have wantonly refused to show appreciation to them.

The Juaben based fetish priest noted, for instance, that politicians who sought varying assistance from gods in attaining political power in the 2008 elections have all declined to show appreciation to the gods.

Though he will not mention names, Nana Osorogya revealed that he has a dossier on some leading politicians who consulted several oracles in the country and performed various rituals which included the burying of all sorts of life animals just to win power.

“Do you think that the gods will be happy that after seeking their help to win political power, you do not show any appreciation?” the powerful fetish priest questioned rhetorically.

He categorically declared that until the leading politicians, who sought the help of gods in the attainment of their positions, go back and appease the gods by way of showing appreciation, the nation will forever be entangled in strings of disasters.

Noting that the nation also has a role to play in pacifying the irritated gods, Nana Osorogya asked Christians, Muslims and other believers to join hands in praying to God to avert further calamities on the nation.

“The rituals that need to be performed are many, one person cannot do it all, so I call on Christians, Muslims and other believers to join hands in praying to God for his intervention,” he emphasized.

Stressing that he did not make these disclosures with the view of causing panic, Nana Osorogya said his gods compelled him to come out with these information in order to create awareness, and by so doing, devise solutions.

The series of fire disasters that have struck the nation since President Mills assumed office took a different dimension when the official residence of the Rawlingses razed down under mysterious circumstances on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
