Fashion Icon Awards launched + winners of Industry Awards Night

It was a fabulous evening at the plush Alisa hotel on Sunday, February 23 as stakeholders in the fashion industry met to launch the maiden Fashion Icon Awards.

The awards scheme that promises to be the biggest ceremony in the Ghana's fashion industry was launched with the presentation of seven (7) categories of industry awards.

Here are the winners of each category;

Fashion photographer of the year - Emmanuel Bobbie of Bob Pixel Photography

Fashion communicator of the year (Online) - Ob Abenser of FashionistaGh

Fashion communicator of the year (Print) - Makeba Boateng of Ovation Magazine

Best model management/agency - Exopa Modeling Agency

Fashion Stylist of the year and - House of Cramer

Stylish Creative Director of the year - Beatrice Arthur of B'Exotiq

Nominations were officially opened for Lifetime Achievement and Promising Icon awards with the following categories; Brand/Designer of the year, Accessory designer of the year, Best female model of the year, Best male model of the year, Stylish female personality of the year, Stylish male personality of the year, Contribution to fashion-Corporate organization.

General public can now nominate up to two (2) of their favourite brands/persons for any of the above categories on or before March 31, 2014 through FIA website www.fashioniconsawards.com or pick up a form at our office at Spintex, fill it and return back.

The organizers promise a unique and glamorous ceremony for grand finale of the event in August and urge everybody to participate in all processes leading to the main ceremony.
