The question as to whether he could indeed extend his Lordship over the national Capital of Ghana, Accra was simply put to rest last night (November 6 2016) at the Accra International Conference Centre as Ahmed Mujahid Bello popularly known in showbiz as Fancy Gadam otherwise referred to as the “Prince of the North” broke barriers and tore territories with his first ever concert in the city.

A feat difficult for a number of mainstream artists and many event organizers in Ghana, the musician simply filled the auditorium with no major or well known Ghanaian artists.

Artistes billed for the night included Ataaka, Nandos, Iwan and Saani among others

Prior to this event, many were skeptical as to whether he could indeed hold a successful show in Accra considering the fact that he was now enjoying some buzz around the country

The young Northern based artiste burst onto the mainstream scene earlier this year after making headlines with his sold out his album launch (Naawuni Yiko) at the Tamale stadium.

Building on that momentum Fancy Gadam has performed alongside some of Ghana’s biggest acts including Stonebwoy, VVIP and more.

In fact, I must congratulate the artist and hos team simply because it was a very daring decision they took and it indeed paid off. Perhaps, a risk other A listed artists from other parts of the country must take to indeed prove their dominance.
