Fadi Emprez 'Pizza' wins big at maiden Northern Music Video awards

Soul and Afropop songstress, Fadi Emprez has won the overall music video of the year at the maiden Denlloyed Northern Music Video awards 2018 put up by Pluz Consult and sponsored by Denlloyed.

The event was held at the Radach Memorial Hotel, Tamale, Saturday.

The sexy singer and Pizza hitmaker who was nominated in several categories of the awards won the best female video and the overall music video of the year.

Excited Fadi Emprez after receiving her awards said, she will continue to make the best music for the world, “I am speechless, this awards will encourage me to do more and take Northern music to the next level and to the world. I am so grateful to my fans and well-wishers for these wonderful awards, couldn’t have made it without their support. I'm so excited about this.

The best highlife music video of the year went to the King of Northern high-life music, King Darlus.

The sensational singer from the Blackstone Record Label said, the award will motivate him to do more in his craft.

“This award goes to highlife fans in Ghana and lovers of good music, the Team Darlus for their motivation and wonderful support. I also thanked the organizers of the awards for this recognition… I dedicated this award to my lovely family….I thanked Allah Almighty for this”.


A reggae and dancehall artiste, Hassan Abdulai Aziz known in showbiz as Hoya who won the Reggae/Dancehall category in the night, noted that the awards was big deal for him".

CEO of Pluz Consult, Mr. Inusah Abdul Rahim made a passionate appeal to the various assemblies to support showbiz award schemes to boost the creative industry. "We want the assemblies to support some categories of the awards such as the Traditional music, Female music video and developmental music video".
