The remains of the late boss of Exopa Modeling Agency, Ibrahim Sima, will be buried today in accordance with Islamic tradition.
Sima died on December 5, 2014 after suffering an injury following a football game while serving a jail term at the Nsawam Prisons in the Eastern region.
He is expected to be laid to rest at the Tema Community 9 Cemetery. An autopsy will be carried on the body today at the 37 Military Hospital and will then be released to the family for burial.
The family has accused the Police Hospital of negligence when the Prisons Service rushed Sima there for treatment. However, officials of the Police Hospital have denied any wrongdoing.
The Exopa Chief Executive Officer was sentenced to 15 years by an Accra Fast Track High Court in September 2011 for possessing and attempting to export 4.9 kilogrammes of cocaine concealed in four tubers of yam.
