Ghanaian comedic talent and musician Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has called on the public, particularly fellow entertainers, to prioritize regular health check-ups and exercise to avert unforeseen health crises.

He emphasized the importance of health awareness, recommending routine visits to healthcare providers for wellness checks.

"Engaging in consistent exercise and health screenings can reveal undetected medical issues," he counseled.

Lil Win shared this guidance during his participation in the COA health walk at Cape Coast, an event spearheaded by COA Mixture.

In conjunction with the walk, the company conducted complimentary health screenings, prompting Lil Win to encourage people to seize such opportunities to ascertain their health status.

"It doesn't matter if you're in the limelight or not; staying informed about your health is crucial, and free medical screenings should be embraced regardless of your economic situation," he urged.

Dr. James Prah, the Medical Director at the University of Cape Coast Hospital, conducted screenings for various health conditions, including HIV, typhoid, diabetes, and hypertension.

"Early detection of these health issues is key to preventing further complications and the potential consequences that may follow. Regular monitoring of bodily functions is essential, which underscores the significance of preventive healthcare," Dr. Prah explained.
