Every artiste needs a Grammy – Shatta Wale

Multiple Award winning Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has stated in an interview with Arnold Mensah Elavanyo on AM Pluzz show that Grammy awards is good and that every artiste needs it.

He made this statement when he was asked to air his view on the possible nomination of Stonebwoy in the next Grammy Awards. Shatta Wale quickly explained that even though he doesn’t clamor for awards, others live for it.

“Me I want to make money, it is not awards. If I get award, fine. But me I want to make money.” He revealed.

According to him, he would rather work hard for money than awards. Because to him, awards can’t buy him a one million dollars mansion at East Legon.

He however ended the interview by admitting that Grammy Awards is good; every artiste needs it. “Grammy dierr it’s nice, everybody has to win Grammy’s”.
