Gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah pulled a heavy crowd to fill the International Conference centre for the 2018 ‘Abba Father’ Crossover worship and praise held 30th of December.
Evangelist Diana was excited by the number of patrons at the event and thanked them for supporting her ever since she started and urged them to continue to support her inorder to push Ghana gospel music forward.
She said "this year's concert is also a platform for me to thank God for what he has done for me throughout my career as a musician and also to celebrate my achievement in the music industry. Without God, all these heights I have gained would not have been possible’’
The event which happens to be one of the biggest gospel shows held this year saw big names in the gospel industry such as ‘Bobolebobo’ hitmaker, Evg. I. K. Aning, Ceccy Twum, and Obaapa Christy and uprising gospel musicians performing on stage.
The 2018 ‘Abba Father’ worship and praise edition was under the theme 'Crossover'.
According to the organizers, the purpose of the event is to ‘’bring together in worship and thanksgiving all who desire to worship God like David did.”
The event which was introduced two years ago has surpassed just a gospel show and has grown to become an ultimate worship experience because of the kind of artistes that are assembled under one umbrella to thrill gospel music fans.
Diana Asamoah is credited with award-winning songs like ‘M’abo Wo Din’, ‘Akoko Abon’, ‘Woda Mu Fua’, among others.
Last year’s edition saw gospel music giants such as Ohemaa Mercy, Yaw Sarpong, Rev. Mac Abraham, the Winneba Youth Choir, among others, thrilling patrons with their best songs.
The immediate past Minister of Gender, Children & Social Protection Otiko Afisa Djaba, Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Catherine Ablema Afeku and a host of other dignitaries graced last year’s edition.
