Elikem Kumordzi directs traffic at Dzorwulu

Whether it was to show off one of his multiple talents or it was a way of seizing a moment to add sanity to society, award-winning Ghanaian fashion designer and movie actor, Elikem Kumordzie joined the likes of former President Rawlings to direct traffic during rush hour in Accra.


In a short video sighted by GhanaWeb, the former Big Brother Africa housemate confidently, assisted the police officer on duty to keep the vehicles in order to ease movement on the road.


As traffic on the Bulk Oil Storage and Distribution Company (BOST) head office in Dzorwulu, around 5:00 pm Monday was at its peak, Elikem was stationed at the stretch conducting traffic to avoid congestions on the road.


His action earned him the praise of drivers and commuters for going out of his way to direct the traffic.


A couple of months ago Ghana’s former President Jerry John Rawlings was captured in a video directing traffic at the Prampram Junction along the Tema-Aflao highway, a junction known for heavy traffic especially during weekends.


The former president who was reported to have descended from his car to direct traffic flow.


The moment which was not surprising to many who know the former military leader for his orderly his lifestyle earned him the admiration of Ghanaians.
