Edem, Obrafuor and others pray for Amakye Dede

Musicians have taken to social media to wish legendary Ghanaian hi-life icon Amakye Dede a speedy recovery following his near-fatal accident on New Year’s Day.

His manager, Isaac Yeboah, who is the editor of the P&P newspaper, died in the crash.

Amakye Dede's bodyguard is also reported to have sustained serious injuries, but now responding to treatment.

The accident occurred at Osiem in the Eastern Region.

Amakye Dede, bodyguard Prince and manager Isaac were on their way to Accra after playing a show at a spot called Paradise near the Bunso Junction on the Accra-Kumasi road.

Hiplife stars Edem, Keche, Obrafuor, EL, Pappy Kojo, among others, upon hearing the news, took to social media to wish the legend well.
