Discovery Channel & African Society

A team of Discovery Networks led by its President; Mr. William M. Campbell III and The Africa Society of The National Summit on Africa recently visited Ghana and celebrated Ghana's 49th Independence. Discovery Networks and the Africa Society are credited with the production of "Ghana, The Presidential Tour",. this historic documentary, was aired on Discovery?s Travel Channel on November 8, 2005. In the documentary, President John Kufour as a tour guide reveals amazing treasures of wildlife, rainforest canopies, beautiful artwork, gold-strewn festivals, crocodiles and pristine white sand beaches where soccer games are played. Hosted by highly acclaimed broadcast journalist and moderator, Forrest Sawyer. The team were hosted by Hon. Jake O. Lamptey, Minister of Tourism and events in Ghana were exclusively managed by Global Media Alliance.
