1. Roasted groundnuts/peanut

2. Sugar

3. Butter (optional)

Instructions

1. Roughly crash groundnuts into smaller sizes

2. In a hot pan, melt some sugar to a golden brown/ caramel

3. Add the butter and let it melt

4. Add the crashed groundnuts and mix it well in to the caramel

5. Pour it out on to a clean, smooth surface or a parchment paper

6. Quickly roll it out flatly and cut it into smaller pieces before it hardens up

7. Allow it to cool and its ready to be served.

Nkate cake can be enjoyed as a snack, dessert, or even a treat for celebrations. 

However, it's important to note that nkate cake, like any sweet treat, should be consumed in moderation due to its sugar and calorie content.
