Depoliticize Black Stars – Kwaku Manu advises

Ghanaian actor, Kwaku Manu has stressed on the need for all to depoliticize the Black Stars. According to him, the politicization of Black Stars negatively affects the team in diverse ways including how it performs at tournaments.

In an interview with Abrantepa on Radio Univers, Kwaku Manu who sounded emotional said, “Let’s depoliticize Black Stars. The issue of NPP-NDC is hindering the progress of the team. Every Ghanaian should support the senior national team with all their hearts so that we can go places. Sometimes, the utterances of a political figure make some people even pray for the team to be kicked out of a tournament”.

Kwaku Manu added that Ghana has had benefits from the world cup and politicizing the Black Stars will hinder the success of the team and the country as a whole. He has, therefore, asked that the practice should seize forthwith.
