Dear GhanaWeb; I have been married to my wife for three years now, and together we have one child.

From the very beginning, when I started dating my current wife, I was warmly welcomed into her family.

My mother-in-law treated me like a son, and I felt completely at home whenever I was around them.

When I finally married my wife, her mother came to stay with us during her pregnancy to help out. That was when things unexpectedly took a turn.

One night, while my wife was asleep, my mother-in-law and I were on the couch chatting.

Somehow, one thing led to another, and before I realised, her legs were wrapped around me, moaning in delight while I was thrusting deep into her. I was shocked by what had happened, but in the nights that followed, it became a regular affair between us.

Even after my wife gave birth, the secret relationship with my mother-in-law continued. Now, out of the blue, she has told me that she is pregnant. She is in her late 40s, and she insists that she does not want to terminate the pregnancy.

I am deeply troubled and confused. I don’t know what to do or how to handle this situation. And it will only get worse once our families realise what has been going on.

I am torn between my wife, my family, and this unimaginable reality. I desperately need advice.
