Dear GhanaWeb: Men are rejecting me because they think I am ‘too beautiful’

I didn't realize that beauty could bring challenges and rejections until I experienced it myself.

I am 35 years old and single. My current relationship status is not by choice, but rather because the men I meet do not trust me enough to commit to a long-term relationship.

Men do not see me as deserving of their love. They view me as a beautiful and intelligent woman who might toy with their emotions and leave them heartbroken.

Furthermore, they doubt my claim of being single.

The men I have dated have been overly protective and controlling, dictating how I should live my life. They even prevented me from attending social events out of fear that I might meet someone else.

I understand that my situation may not seem serious, but I am genuinely seeking a companion with whom I can share my thoughts and feelings.

How can I prove to men that beneath my beauty lies a loyal and trustworthy woman who would never take their love for granted?
