Dear GhanaWeb: I'm bleeding profusely after sleeping with a pastor

Dear GhanaWeb,

I joined a group of girls who were into prostitution earlier last year. Some were from different countries; Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Kenya and other parts.

There’s a woman that we all go and give condoms to. She is like our boss because she is the one who gives us accommodation and supports us. She also rescues us whenever we are in trouble.

It’s a necessity to bring condoms every day. If you don’t, she would be angry and you would be punished. We use ice when we are on our period so we can still go to work.

She doesn’t like it if someone books us for the whole night because if that happens, then we bring only one condom, which she doesn’t like so we only do all night booking once in a while or with special clients.

I met a man in December last year. He said he was a pastor and just wanted to talk, so he booked me all night. He said he wasn’t going to have sex with me.

We went to the hotel and truly, he didn’t have sex with me. We just spoke till he fell asleep and gave me money in the morning to leave. He took my number and said he would call again.

But that day, because I didn’t submit any condoms, our madam was angry. She wanted to even evict me.

Everyone pleaded on my behalf before she gave me a second chance. She said if we bring the condom, that’s what guarantees our stay at the place for the day.

The man called and asked me to meet him in the same hotel last month. Since I knew he wouldn’t sleep with me, I decided to go see a guy before seeing the man so I could get to submit the condom.

That day, the man slept with me, but he didn’t give me the condom when we were done. He took it and said he would keep it. I forced hi,m but he insisted.

The problem now is, I’ve been bleeding since that day and it’s not just blood; it stinks so badly. I could barely go out. I went to tell our madam, but she said it wasn’t her doing, that it was the man I allowed to take the condom away.

I’m confused, because she also told me that whatever will happen to me wasn’t her fault. The man said he was a pastor, so I don’t know which of them is doing this to me. I’ve tried to find help, but no one could help me.

I’m suffering and in serious pain. I’ve gone to the few places I can, now I’m tired. I need help, it’s getting worse. What do I do now?
