Sarkodie’s hit song, ‘Lay Away’ featuring Jayso and UK’s finest rapper of Ghanaian root, Sway made Ghana proud over the weekend when it picked up the nod for ‘Best Collaboration of the Year’ at the Soundcity Music Video Awards (SMVA), in Lagos, Nigeria.

The award ceremony which was held at the Expo Hall of Eko Hotel was broadcast live across over 50 African countries. The evenly distributed pan-Africa awards saw Nigeria’s R&B sensation, Banky W winning ‘Best Male Video’ in addition to the coveted ‘Best Video’
