DJ Switch gets scholarship as she celebrates 12th birthday

DJ of the year, DJ Switch on Friday, December 13, climaxed the celebration of her 12th birthday at the Cahaya Lounge, East Legon.

The young star was joined by her family, friends, management, officials of her school - Talented Royal School - and some media personnel as she clocked a new age.

The occasion saw DJ Switch make merry as she exhibited her disc jockey skills amid resounding applause from the audience. She also performed some of her songs and exchanged pleasantries with love ones who were present for a common goal.

In what seemed to be a surprise birthday present, Talented Royal School announced a scholarship package for the celebrant.

"From next term, till she writes BECE in 2021, she's on scholarship," Edward Afful, director of the school said.

Nanaba, a painter also gifted DJ Switch with a painting.
