If Ghana meets Naija was a football platform to judge who is currently the best between Ghana and Nigeria on the turn-table, then certainly the home team fully backed by one of the country’s finest – DJ Mensah would have lost all 3-points to the away team backed by the one and only DJ Neptune from Nigeria.
The showdown was being termed as a turntable-ist battle royale set to go down between Nigeria’s highest rated DJ, mix tape specialist and Naeto C’s official disc jockey DJ Neptune and Ghana’s finest DJ and Sarkodie’s official disc jockey, DJ Mensah; but the Dome of the Accra International Conference Center was the only place to settle this scores.
This was the first time these two DJs from both countries had pitched against each other and it was exciting to see how DJ Neptune was more familiar with the rave of the moment tunes in Ghana to Ghanaian born DJ Mensah who took a while to settle in and then summarized his skills taking the throng back to back in the days.
Everyone in the public (perhaps except you who may want to disagree to this) felt cushioned by Akeem Oladunni known as the Ever-blazing DJ Neptune at the expense of Ghana’s Untouchable DJ Mensah.
Do we in unison have it in conclusion that this year’s Ghana meets Naija battle of the DJ’s was won by the away team?**
