Count-down to the Hiplife Festival 2007

The Hiplife Festival returns once again this coming Bank Holiday weekend. As it coincides with the Ghana at 50 celebrations and 10 years since the birth of hiplife music, it promises to be the biggest Ghanaian music event in the UK.

Stepping down from Ghana will be hip-life royalties such as V.I.P., Castro, Kwabena Kwabena, Tic Tac, Screwface, A-Plus, Boli, Nana Antwi and BK.


Abrewa Nana and Manye Mercy will be repping for the ladies. There will also be a special, surprise guest artiste on the night.


UK support will include Ntatia, Lady Sledge, Candy Man, C-Lazy, Kwarifa, Howls of Lords, Franky Boy, KBK and Triple C and Roman Fadaz.


Also don’t miss the live comedy set from the funniest man in Ghana right now, the one and only, Agya Koo.


Hosts on the night are E.D.D.I.E. and Dentaa from OBE TV and the MC’s will be Clarke Pintoa and Daddy Fingers. DJ’s include Alordia & Scoobi, Abrantee, DJ Makossa, French Kiss, DJ Billy, DJ Invisible, Big L and DJ Amita.


The date is set for Saturday 25th August 2007 and all roads lead to The Coronet Theatre, 28 New Kent Road, Elephant & Castle. Doors open from 10pm til 5am. Tickets are only £15 in advance and £20 at the door and include a free DVD (whilst stocks last).
