Shatta Wale’s horde of devoted fans, known as the ‘SM Family’, follow every aspect of his life, supporting him on every new adventure.

Recently, his fans started wondering what religion the superstar subscribes to, and whether or not he attends church.

In 2018, when the dance hall king embarked on a media tour to promote his ‘Reign’ album, he spoke on why he does not go to church.

“Most of the pastors in Ghana are my friends.” Shatta disclosed. “But it’s hard for me to go to church these days.”

Spreading the gospel in today's world comes with a creative gamble.

This morning, Shatta Wale surprisingly treated his Twitter followers to an online sermon.

His online preaching comes on the back of a directive by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, that churches and other public gathering exceeding 25 persons are to halt meetings. This directive is aimed at controlling the spread of coronavirus.

Below are Shatta Wale’s inspiring Bible quotes.
