Cleaning streets not for votes – John Dumelo

A section of the public have given actor, John Dumelo some hard time over his knack of joining communities to clean the environment – as they opine that, his move is just to garner votes in the 2020 Presidential & Parliamentary Elections – www.entertainmentgh.com has taken notice.

His critics have insinuated that, his willingness to join others clean their environs is just a ploy to get attention and goodwill, all in the name of winning votes for the Parliamentary elections.

Speaking to Jay Foley on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz 103.9FM, the actor refuted such claims, stating that, cleaning the streets is not for votes.

He stated that, he constantly gets invitation from different groupings in the regard of cleaning their environment and he can’t turn such requests down. He went on to talk about another invitation he’s even received for another cleaning engagement for the next day, and as a responsible man, he can not turn such invitations down.

‘I have to help clean the environment,” he said.

John Dumelo is contesting for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Parliamentary elections for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
