A rep for the award winning singer issued the following statement: "We are very happy to be back home after the trip to Norway. From the day we landed till the day we left everything was amazing! The reception was great, the audiences loved the performances and I can confidently say that Chemphe has left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. We are back home and it's all about promoting the release of the double album, New Day and Hidden Emotions".

The event organisers also released a statement describing how satisfied they were with the performance of Chemphe. "We are very happy to have had him at this event. His contribution to the success of the conference has been breath-taking. We hope to have him back anytime, anyday. Chemphe is a true African star", the statement said.

Chemphe has won the hearts of many music lovers across Europe, Asia and Africa. He has been described by some as the lyrical rhythm of Ghana and a music voice that can be likened unto great ones like that of Nelson Mandela.

In honour of the International Nelson Mandela Day, marking his 93rd birthday, Ghana’s Urban music singer, Chemphe released “Global Citizens (Together For Change)” to re-echo the word of the mentor.

In an exclusive Ghana Music.com interview, Chemphe said he was "feeling great" for singing for Mandela and the whole of Africa, hoping this song will go places.

The song starts with Mandela giving a short speech before Chemphe sings about discrimination, togetherness, love, poverty and more in the five minutes seventeen seconds song.

Like the Mandela Day says “Take Action; Inspire Change; Make Every Day a Mandela Day”, Chemphe would like to end with that adage.

Chemphe is set to launch his website, www.chemphesings.com and embark on a nationwide tour to promote his new album. Watch out for Chemphe in a venue near you.
