Chemical Interrogation • ‘Dr Panie’ To Administer

“Professor Emeritus” Kwaku Sintim Misa, MD PhD Chemistry, has discovered a formula and manufactured a new brand of truth serum out of synthesising over fifty different types of herbs. There is no way its administration will fail to bring out the truth from even a pathological liar.

During testing the efficacy of his new drug, he administered it on a chimpanzee, which confessed all its wrongdoing while in its natural habitat, the rain forest. It confessed to having two unsuccessful marriages because it cheated on it’s female partner. It also confessed to all its pranks since it joined the human community.

KSM wears many hats; he is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sapphire Ghana Limited; a trustee of the African Media Foundation (South Africa); a radio talk show host; and an executive producer, writer and director.

All these notwithstanding, it is rather his satirical and comic one-man shows that have earned him a strong following in Ghana, especially among the middle and upper classes. He does not shy away from controversial issues but confronts them in a remarkable manner that makes the audience laugh at themselves as long as the show takes.

He has indeed successfully changed the face of theatre in Ghana by breaking down the barriers and pushing the limits, and he is the only actor in Ghana who can fill the 1,500 capacity National Theatre any day.

After a nine-month hiatus from the stage, Ghana’s ace satirist and undisputed King of Comedy is ready for a major comeback! KSM hits the National Theatre in November with a new political comedy Chemical Interrogation, and this will be his final show for the year as his usual December entertainment programme will not come on this year.

He predicts that this will be the crowning moment of his career as a satirist.
