All over the world, musicians have found ways to either draw closer their fans or make them a part of their successes. Many have in this regard either run promotions and given merchandise to their fans or carved a name which the fans can easily associate and Ghana is no different.
This has been no different in Ghana as the country has for the past few years witnessed some really interesting times with artists including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Akwaboah, Flowking Stone and many carving names for their fans.
Notable among the various names are BHIM Nation which refers to fans of BET Award winner Stonebwoy. Sarkodie also has a solid and untouchable fan base called SarkNation and oh yes Akwaboah who was recently signed to SarkCess Music also has AkwaNation. Flowking Stone also has kingdom over which he rules and calls them Flowkingdom .
This leaves you to wonder the crave for several Nations in the music industry and hence tired to find out what reigning Artist of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards calls his fans.
In a post to show appreciation to his fans for their unflinching support, the musician released a new song and referred to his fans as ELiens.
Quite a switch from the nations right? At least it sounds cool and quite new.
Are the fans of E.L closer to Aliens? Well, I can tell but what do you think of ELiens?
