Charterhouse tops nominations in maiden Ghana Events Awards

Events giants, Charterhouse Productions, organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Miss Malaika Ghana, The Night of 1000 laughs comedy series, Ghana Rocks Music Concert, MTN Hitmaker and a lot more, has topped the list with 6 nominations in the maiden edition of the Ghana Events Awards.

The event which seeks to promote the best standard of event management in Ghana released their nominations on Friday July 7, on an Accra-based LIVE FMs Route919 with Antoine Mensah. Miss Emmaline Datey and Prince Akpah, representatives of the event were live in the studio to unveil the nominees.

The subsidiary of The Multiple Concepts Group which has operations in Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Cape Verde have proven over the years that they stand out and shine when it comes to events planning, management and execution in the West African sub region.

The firm’s flagship event which also happens to be the biggest and most respected event on Ghana’s Entertainment Calendar, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was nominated in the Best Event Set Up, Event of The Year and Ghana’s Favourite Event categories, while other events like the prestigious Miss Malaika Ghana Beauty Pageant which has recently opened its doors for entries ahead of the grand auditions on July 29th at the Charterhouse Studios in Accra and the Ghana Rocks Music Concert which headlined Stonebwoy and Tekno in December 2016 got nominated in the Ghana’s Favourite Event category.

As an organization, Charterhouse Productions also got nominated in the Event Company of the Year Category.

The Ghana Event Awards is an annual awards ceremony set to recognize, honour and celebrate the various indigenous Ghanaian events and organizers who set the pace for excellence in event management across the country. The award scheme is set to high point organizations as well as individuals who are in one way or another making a difference by creating and successfully executing incredible events that meet international standards and have the ability to become a point of reference for others.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on August 4, 2017 at the plush African Regent Hotel – Accra.
