Dubai Festival (MIA2015) award winner Opoku Mensah is all set to rock the stage once again at Alliance Francaise Accra on July 8, 2016.

This is to celebrate his achievements as the artist received the Best African Music Composer and Best African Pianist awards in Dubai and Benin respectively.

He recently played a concert at +233 Jazz Bar in Accra which was an explosive success yet he promises a more exciting performance on his upcoming event.

Opoku Mensah is an advocate for African music and he says; “Music is a mark of identity, I value African music and my choice for African music is to express my pride to be an African”.

Opoku Mensah and his Nananom Band represented Ghana with roaring and congratulatory sounds from their CD ‘Spirit of Africa’ launched in 2014. They performed at the last Africa Rhythms Festival of Music held at Forever Parkin in Lome, Togo.

The artist has the potential talent and aspirations that could earn him a place among Ghana’s greatest ones like Ebo Taylor, Osibisa, ET Mensah, A. B Crenstil, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, CK Mann among others.

He has also played at several concerts on the local scene most of which were played in Accra at Republic Bar, Alliance Française Accra, Burger, Relishand +233 Jazz Bar and Grill.

This upcoming concert at Alliance Française Accra is to celebrate his achievements and awards though theartist is yet to show to Ghanaiansand the whole world that he has the potential to go further.

The concert takes place on Friday, 8th July at Alliance Française Accra Amphitheatre at 8pm.

Everyone is expected to be at this celebration as this will show a sign of encouragement and support to the Ghanaian best African Music Composer and Keyboardist.
