Some music enthusiasts who were not moved by ‘Very Good Bad Girl’, a single released by Captain Planet which features Sarkodie took to various social media platforms and expressed their disappointment.
Some gnashed their teeth for wasting their data and further counselled others not to replicate the blunder.
Their comments, according to Captain Planet, are welcome because he believes consumers have the right to express their thoughts on a product.
The member of music trio, 4×4 in an interview with Abrantepa on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show, Brunch2Lunch, said he had seen some of the comments and although some sounded as if they had grudges with him, he would take it in good fate.
He however intimated that the song has received good reviews from others, adding that as an artiste, he needs both diverse remarks to improve.
“We were trending number one on the internet yesterday. People were giving good responses, others too said whatever they wanted to say but at the end of the day, it is a party song. We are doing it for the people. Some people write as though they have personal issues with you. How can you hate that wide? If you don’t like the song, you can say so but don’t attack me. I see some of them and I laugh over it. One of them said ‘don’t mind Captain Planet. When he smokes the weed, then he begins to talk by heart’. But I have never smoked weed nor taken alcohol before,” he said humorously.
“There are things you just have to ignore. They are the reason you are singing. They have every right to point out what the feel about the song,” Captain Planet added.
‘Very Good Bad Girl’ was produced by MOG and mixed by PossiGee.
