CCTV was inspired by R2Bees’ ‘Walahi’ song – King Promise

Legacy Life Entertainment afro singer, King Promise has disclosed what motivated him to churn out an inspirational song titled “CCTV”.

Real named, Gregory Bortey Newman, the ‘Selfish’ crooner told Kasapa Fm’s host of Di Wu Lane show, Kwame Bee that after carefully listening to lyrics of R2Bees’ Life (Walahi) song, he thought of writing similar lyrics.

“‘Walahi’ has been my inspiration and that is how I came about CCTV because I thought of doing a motivational song to speak with my people.” He told Kwame Bee

CCTV song has been very phenomenal in the music industry over a short period of time.

The song was rated number one on the Musicians Union of Ghana top ten most played songs on radio for the month of June.

The song features Ghanaian powerhouses, Mugeez and Sarkodie, and produced by multiple award-winning Ghanaian record producer Killbeatz.
