Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, aka Bulldog, the former manager of dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has opened up for the first time on the recent media ‘war’ between the artiste and Nigeria’s Wizkid.

According to Bulldog, Shatta Wale’s recent habit of attacking his colleague musicians, especially Nigerians is a grave threat to his own career.

Speaking on Hitz FM in Accra, Bulldog expressed worry and advised his former artiste against prolonging his attack on the Nigerian artiste.

“For me I am not worried about Shatta. I am worried about his kids. I think anything we do have posterity. He has wife and kids. I mean sometimes he has to think about that. He is the breadwinner so he should let that sink in his thoughts when he’s provoked,” he said.

Bulldog who was worried about the recent ‘Shatta-controversy’ in his conversation, stressed that some people get threatened and jealous about the successes of others, hence the reason for the attacks. “We have to stop being sad so we can celebrate people. We feel because we don’t have money we can’t live. Life is a gift. We need a positive attitude. It’s a sad mind-set and we need to purge ourselves from it,” Bulldog said.

He also advised Ghanaians to drop the ‘inferiority complex’ syndrome since money doesn’t guarantee one's life. The self-acclaimed dancehall King, Shatta Wale, recently launched a scathing attack on Nigeria’s ‘Starboy’ Wizkid.

Shatta in a radio interview, insisted that he does not recognize the Afropop singer, Wizkid, as a ‘superstar’ as some of his Ghanaian colleagues regard him.

His comments about the musician angered some Nigerian fans who ‘pounced’ on him across various social media platforms.

Though many entertainment pundits have calmed the situation down, Shatta Wale has issued a series of threats to his Nigerian colleague ahead of his December concert in Ghana.
