Highlife artiste Bisa Kdei has reacted to assumptions that he intentionally released his hit song “Brother Brother” to kill R2bees’s “Concert Party” which was to rule the airwaves.

The musician on Pluzz FM told Sammy Flex, host of the morning show that he released the song because his plan was to create awareness for his second studio album, “Breakthrough”. To him, R2bees’ “Concert Party” song is still popular contrary to what people think that his song “Brother Brother” has overshadowed it.

R2bees’ Concert party is not dead. The idea was to create the awareness that there is an album coming out this December so that is why I released “Brother Brother” after “Mansa”

The two highlife songs, “Concert Party” and “Brother Brother” have a feel of old Ghanaian highlife music. The Tema-based group, R2bees released “Concert Party” on October 15 this year.

Four days after the song “Concert Party” was out gaining good review, Bisa Kdei also released “Brother Brother”.
