Bradez, Sarkodie, Samini Others Win Online Award

Simple by Bradez has been voted as the West Africa Song of the Year in the maiden edition of the Museke Online Africa Music Awards (MOAMAs). Their compatriots Sarkodie, Echo and Samini also were adjudged winners in their respective categories.

Sarkodie picked the ‘Best New Artist/Group’, the ‘Best Afro-Pop Song’ went to Gologolo by Echo and Samini’s ‘Where My Baby Dey’ picked the ‘Best Dancehall Song’.

The awards were organized by Museke.com, an African music site which seeks to unify Africa through its music and partners. The winners would be awarded packages where their music will be promoted through various media while their online presence will also be enhanced.

The winners were selected based on African music fan votes. Voting took place from April 6 to May 29 2010 http://awards.museke.com (http://moamas.com).
