Ghanaian reggae star and former radio personality with Accra based Hitz FM Abubakar Ahmed well known as Black Rasta has described American president elect Donald Trump as “dumb”.

As monitored by Ghana’s Hub for Urban Entertainment and Pop Culture News – www.nydjlive.com, the pro Obama musician in an interview with Audrey Brown on BBC’s Focus on Africa, described the outspoken president as one undeserving to be a leader.

Asked if he really thinks Donald Trump is “dumb” as he says in his song, Black Rasta reiterated saying;

“I think he is. I will always change my mind when people decide to turn a better leaf. I don’t think that he stands for anything, not at all..He’s changing almost everything…

Donald Trump has said a lot of terrible things against Muslims, he’s said a lot of things against Black people and he has also said a lot of things against general immigration.”

Despite the words used at describing the president elect, Black Rasta asserted he’s ready to record a song for Donald Trump should he turn to be a good president.

“I will be the first person to sing a song for him”

Black Rasta was however full of praise for outgoing president Barack Obama.

“Well, I’m so proud of him, I mean for the fact that a Black man has been able to go in there and he got the second nod for a second term. For me I think that’s a great achievement”

Speaking about his governance and policies towards Africa, the musician said Barack Obama had done very well.

“Some people thought that God was coming to take over. Some people had a lot of expectations (I’ve never rated any human being beyond his human capabilities), so for me he has done very well. I mean there was a lot of mess when he came in, terrorism all over the place, bombs were flying, people were being cut into pieces… He was a more peaceful president”, he said.

Black Rasta also recounted his dinner experience with Barack Obama in 2009 when the former visited Ghana.

8 years ago, Black Rasta recorded a song for Barack Obama.
