Black History Month

The month of October, has been set aside by the British Council,G hana to celebrate UK Black History Month. The festival is to promote knowledge about the history of black people.

Come tomorrow, 6pm, at the British Council auditorium, the film, Black Joy will be shown.This is a 5-star comedy and controversial film.

Friday, November 4 is the Open Mic and Lovers? Rock party. This will also be at the Office Lounge Bar in Osu and will serve as the climax of the celebration.

Currently taking place at the courtyard and terrace of the British Council, under the theme; British Garden Tea Party,is an art exhibition.

It features works by ?Bartemmeus Award Winner?, Nana Anolf, Kweku ?Big Foot?, Hector Peterson, Kweku Ansah, Nii Obodai, Daniel Addison, Deladem and Selassie Tetevie.

All participants of the Black History Month celebration will stand the chance of being given a one month free membership pass into the British Council Learning Centre, Services and facilities.
