Bisa Kdei hints at launching BisaFest

Ghanaian highlife artiste, Bisa Kdei has hinted at launching an annual event christened BisaFest.

The ‘Mansa’ composer revealed in an interview with Melvina Frimpong Manso on Sunyani-based Suncity Radio which was by www.newshuntermag.com that, the event will be held in all the regions in Ghana.

He explained that BisaFest will be more of a highlife festival.

He said other great highlife artistes in the country will join him to make the event a success.

Bisa Kdei also stressed on the need to promote the highlife genre.

He said people would love to listen to highlife songs if it is well composed.

Bisa stated that he strategically blends his songs for both the old and younger generation to enjoy.

He disagreed with the notion that highlife is taking a nosedive.

“With hard work and support, we can sustain the highlife genre. The new ones are doing their best and we all have a role to play,” he posited.
