Ghanaian enterprising gospel musicians and evangelist, Bernard Amankwah will on Saturday August 25 stage a live gospel musical concert at the National Theatre in Accra to mark the sixth anniversary of his Presence Ministry.
The concert, dubbed “Celebration of His Grace”, is expected to cap six years of impressive concerts organised by the ministry to raise funds for Hole in Heart patients, preach peace in the country and also whip up support for the Black Stars.
The concert will witness exciting performances from Cynthia Appiadu of Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Diana Hamilton, Yaw Antwi and the Harvest Gospel Choir, and J & J Dance Ministry.
Bernard Amankwah said the concert will highlight six years of God’s grace towards the Presence Ministry and then towards him as the leader.
According to the gospel singer, he will use the concert to release a reggae album and he is “going to play all the songs that I have done over the years live on stage. It is a three segment concert – reggae, R&B and worship.”
Bernard Amankwah noted that “God has been faithful to us and I believe that the time has come for us to showcase what Ghana is made of, the excellence that we are also made of when it comes to the arts.”
He has several albums, including, ‘Presence’, ‘Presence II’, ‘Almighty’, ‘The Glory Has Come’, ‘Holy’ and ‘Mercy Rescue Me’, to his credit.
