Belinda stars alongside Majid Michel in new movie

Fast-rising actress Belinda Sefakor Dzattah will soon hit the silver screen with a new movie titled If You Are Mine.

The big, beautiful actress is currently on set with Nollywood star Rukky Sanda, Roselyn Ngissah, Salma Mumin, and multiple award-winning actor Majid Michel. ‘If You Are Mine’ is a romantic comedy that the love story of two emotionally hurt people who had a one night stand and ended up getting married. Not much detail is given about the movie, but it promises to be interesting.

Sefakor made her debut with Majid in Chelsea and then 4Play. She also starred in The Prince Bride, Strippers, and Elmina. In The 5 Brides series which airs on Viasat1, Sefakor plays the role of Regina, a maid who falls in love with the driver of the Gokas, a rich family with their own problems. Regina’s character is a blend of comedy and mischief, and she brings life to the story.

In 2013, she joined four other ladies to star in Bedroom Diaries of a Black Woman where she played Yoni Osei, a big but sexy teacher with issues.

Sefakor tells Viasat1NewsOnline that she has a natural God-given talent to be on the big screen, and hopes to reach the top soon. “Being in the movie industry is a dream come true…because it’s not a hobby to act, but a passion for me. It was never easy to get into the movie industry, and as a lady, it was extremely challenging…so I’m grateful to God for how far He has brought me,” she said.

Meanwhile, shooting of If Your Are Mine is expected to wrap up very soon. It is directed by Pascal Amanfo. We look forward to it!
