Battle of the female DJs @ GHANA meets NAIJA

GHANA meets NAIJA 2013’s heat is on and organizers are not leaving any stone unturned as all round entertainment is fully guaranteed.

In its third year of existence and having been undoubtedly the biggest musical concert in Ghana over the last two years, this year will be bigger, even more spectacular and is sure to give music fans an experience to truly relish.

The event has witnessed spectacular bites in between performances, comedy and healthy disc jocking challenges. Previous edition has seen DJ Mensah from Ghana and DJ Neptune from Nigeria, battle it out and this year’s will not be different.

Empire Entertainment in a beautiful fashion is turning the lights on with swag as the 29th of June, 2013, will see two of Africa’s finest female DJs-DJ Lambo from Nigeria and DJ Kess from Ghana.

About DJ Kess:

DJ Kess is one of Ghana's finest female DJ’s alive in Ghana. Born Nana Kessewa Adu, she currently works with YFM and ETV. Her influence to start DJing started back in high school, and her strong love for music further developed and grew on from there till now. She is an award winning DJ at the maiden edition of the Ghana DJ Awards. She has also been nominated for the ‘Best Female DJ’ at the upcoming African Global DJ Awards in Nigeria. Some of the events she has rocked include: Big Brother Africa as a DJ, Copa Coca Cola as a DJ, in Nigeria, the Red Lipstick concerts and the fabulous Shontelle concert in Ghana.

About DJ Lambo:

DJ Lambo's full name is Olawunmi Okerayi and she started her career as an OAP in Ray Power 100.5FM. She moved on to Rhthym 94.7 FM and Love 104.5 FM in Abuja before starting off her career as a DJ. Her passion to DJ started as a child when she was introduced to Music of Kool and the Gang, African Bamabata, Naughty by Nature, Public Enemy, DJ Premier and numerous other DJ mixes. But one of the greatest motivations and inspirations was, her father, the famous DJ Tony Lewis. Her sound is a blend of house, techno, Afro pop and hip hop with immaculate skills. Dj Lambogini is presently signed to Loopy Music. Presently, she is the personal DJ for Africa’s Number one Rapper MI and occasionally opens for Award winning DJ, DJ Caise.
