Barney, Baby Bob Return To Ghana

BARNEY, the loveable huggable and adorable dinosaur and favourite friend of children all over the world, is set to return to Ghana again this November.

This time, Barney will be staging the show along with Baby Bob and B J on November 7, 2010 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The Barney show is an entertainment programme planned with the fun needs of children in mind, so that for this one day during the year, children can spend the day with their favourite friends whom they relate to daily on TV.

This event is also aimed at creating an exciting environment that brings families together, in as much as it seeks to create an exciting experience for children of all ages.

Previous shows with Barney have been so phenomenal that Charterhouse, the organizers of the show, could not pass up the chance to bring the fun to Ghanaian children once again this year.

Barney and his friends BJ and Baby Bo are regular features in educational and entertaining programmes on TV for children across the world.

Their activities and songs are all directed at expanding the knowledge base of the pre-school children and helping them get ready for school and life in general, by teaching them basic life skills.

Children in schools also find in the programme a wealth of knowledge that supplements what they are taught in school and helps them to interact and learn.

It is often amusing to watch as children, sometimes less than two-years-old, become so engrossed in a Barney show on TV that it leaves their parents impressed.

Currently, Barney is known and loved by children in many countries all over the world, including Ghana, as was evident at last year’s show.

Barney TV and live shows are broadcast all over the world in different languages. In Ghana, the weekly show is broadcast on GTV on Saturdays at 9:30am.

Ghana now has another opportunity to host the world’s most lovable dinosaur, to enable our children to have access to this unique character on TV and enjoy a fantastic live, physical experience. This show is proudly sponsored by Blue Band margarine and Sandra Ice-cream, Unimax Macmillan and Princes Gate and produced by Charterhouse, the hallmark in event management.
