Barclays held Wheel of Surprise mini draw

Accra, Aug 14, GNA - Barclays Bank on Thursday held a mini draw to precede its major Wheel of Surprise Promotion draw to be held September this year. The draw, which was held at the bank's Kasoa Branch, was used to reward customers who had continued to keep faith with the bank since its entry into the Ghanaian banking industry. The draw, which is still ongoing until September, was opened to fresh account holders and customers who had up to 300 cedis in their accounts during the promotion period (July and September). Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs Rose Abbeyquaye, Kasoa Branch Manageress said Barclays Bank was committed to bringing world class banking services to the doorstep of its customers to ensure convenience. Mrs Abbeyquaye said the bank currently had 87 networked branches and 60 sales points to serve the needs of its customers. She encouraged customers and potential customers to do business with the bank to enable them to benefit from "surprise promotions" that the bank would be rolling out during the course of the year. In all, 50,000 entries were received, out of which five were selected as winners.

The winners received DSTV-Dish Decoder and Installation, 21-inch colour television sets and mobile phones. The grand draw will be held later in the year and the winner will receive a brand new Jaguar Saloon Car.
