Banker turned gospel musician, Ama Sarfoa already making hit songs

The latest gospel single of Ama Sarfoa, Onyame Nim is already making waves in the media landscape.

Onyame Nim, a song to praise God although released few weeks ago is also trending on TV stations and other social media platforms.

In an interview with Atinkaonline.com, Ama Sarfoa made it known that she had her secondary education at Mankessin in the central region and holds a BA in banking and finance with French from Regent University and A MA project Management from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).

She was born in Accra, precisely Bubuashie and works at SSNIT as a public affairs officer within the public affairs department.

According to her, she chose to do gospel musice to appreciate how far God has brought her in life.

“I am a Christian and a member of Christ embassy Tema. Looking at how far God has brought in life, he deserves my praise and worship,” she said.

Music career

According to Ama Sarfoa, her music career began from secondary school, adding that she was a member of Scripture Union (SU), the choir and also a chaplain at the university.

Although a career woman, she said combining music with her work at SSNIT has not been easy, attributing her efforts to the grace of God.

“It’s has never been easy but by his grace and I go to studio after work in the evenings,” she said.

She is a single mother, who is inspired by Bernice offei and intends to do more gospel musics to the glorification of God.
