As a build-up to the 2018 BHOBU Games, old students of Bishop Herman College (BIHECO) and OLA Girls School are embarking on a health walk to herald this year's edition.

Slated for Saturday June 2, the two old students’ associations viz. Bishop Herman Old Boys Union (BHOBU) and Past Ola Girls Association (POGA), will converge at the Ayi Mensah toll booth at 6am to walk up the Peduase-Aburi hills.

According to Samuel Gedzah, a member of the organising team, this is just a way to promote camaraderie between old and current students of the two top-flight Volta Region schools.

He went on to entreat all and sundry to join them as the event is also aimed at promoting good health and wellbeing, as well as sensitising the public on the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle so as to reduce incidents of cardiovascular diseases and other lifestyles.

The 2018 BHOBU-POGA health walk is supported by Newco Logistics and Catering Services. Media partners are Joy Sports and TV3 Ghana Network.
