Aya Morrison’s Swimwear collection from the just ended Glitz Africa Fashion Week

The second edition of the Glitz Africa Fashion Week (GAFW) has ended and designers have proved that there is a more refreshing concept when fashion is talked about from this part of our world.

This year’s show featured over fifty international designers and over 70 international models that dazzled the runway.

Audience witnessed creative concepts from designers like Christie Brown, Mina Evans, Poqua Poqu, She by Bena, PISTIS, Elikem Kumordzie The Tailor and Ajepomaa, N’Kya Designs, and House Of Ecentrics.

The rest were Sa4a, Konfidence, Amèyo, B’venaj, Royal Dennis, MSimps, Ani Siyah, April Rust, Kolture Aparel, Rovon, Chocolate Clothes, Deborah Vanessa, Sarah Christian, Afriqan Apeiron and Kus.

But one designer who stood out with her blazing collections as well as went all out to shake the palms of the audience to a nonstop applause all night with her ‘Swimwear Collections’ was Aya Morrison.

Her design is known for its unique African print-inspired Beachwear/Resort-wear, upscale couture pieces and off-the-peg Fashion Handbags and Fashion Accessories.

Locally manufacturing and retailing the brand's chic, functional, yet statement pieces, the infusions of the bright colors and rich culture into each creation sets the fashion tone for the right occasion effortlessly.

Aya Morrison is described as a trendsetting, pizzazz fashion label recognized for striking, sexy designs, ethnic glamour and a sophisticated but delicate representation of the African culture.
