When last did you see veteran Ghanaian musician Awurama Badu? Sure, it’s been a while.

The ace highlife musician who has been out of public space for a while due to ill health recently attended the 2nd Annual General Meeting of the Ghana Music Right Organization held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology on and as expected, Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com got our lenses on her and spent a minute with her.

Many expressed excitement at seeing the musician back on her feet and looking hale and hearty.

Wearing a priceless smile, Awurama Badu was grateful to the executives of GHAMRO for their unflinching support throughout her ill health.

Noted for her inspiring and educative songs, Awurama Badu was in 2016 honoured by Values for Life, a non-profit organization founded by actress and former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Dzifa Abla Gomashie at an event dubbed ‘A Night With Female Legends’ to celebrate and honour some of the biggest names in Ghana’s creative art industry.

Awurama Badu is known for hit songs such as Komkom, Medofo adaada me, Obaatan Refre Ne Mma and Emelia.
