Aunty Bee of 'Efiewura' fame graduates from Legon with Bachelors degree

It is often said that the pursuit of academic laurels has no age limit and a popular Ghanaian actress has exemplified this statement.

Harriet Naa Akleh Okantey, known for her role as Aunty Bee of the ‘Efiewura’ TV series fame, has graduated from the University of Ghana with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts (BFA).

She was part of students who graduated from the school last Saturday. Aunty Bee took to Facebook to announce her achievement “First I give thanks to the almighty God. Secondly to my family and friends for their support. I graduated from the University of Legon [sic] yesterday”, she stated.

Many have congratulated and commended her for pursuing a degree even at such an advanced age.
