Auditions for ‘The Challenge’ season 3 set for Saturday

Auditions for third season of the educational reality TV show, The Challenge is scheduled for Saturday August 13 at the Ring Road Branch of IPMC. Auditions will commence at 8am and the hundreds of hopefuls who have successfully gone through the registration process will have to exhibit exceptional intelligence move beyond the search phase, as the stakes for season three are even higher.

The applicants will undergo a combination of aptitude and psychographic tests, demonstrations of academic excellence, leadership competencies, as well as character and creativity to select twenty five semi-finalists. These twenty five candidates will undergo a series of interviews by a panel which includes representatives of the partner universities, who will shortlist the candidates to twelve finalists to participate in the thirteen week Reality TV Show.

The twelve finalists will receive extensive personal and professional development training and compete against each other in a series of weekly tests, debates, tasks and quizzes in management, leadership, creativity and UK-Ghana trivia.

The contestants will be adjudged by a 3-member Scholarship Committee; named “THE BOARD” to be made up of renowned business leaders. Depending on performance against set criteria, three contestants would be nominated by the Board for eviction after three segments of the show.

Seven out of the 12 contestants will be evicted over a twelve-week period. The 5 remaining contestants will go head-to-head in a final contest to determine the two top winners for post-graduate admissions at the Robert Gordon University and University of Westminster.
